Robert Greim Baile, 85, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born June 28, 1926, in Warrensburg, Missouri the son of J.L. and Bernice (Greim) Baile. He was united in marriage to Beverly Miller on Aug. 22, 1948. Robert was a retired rural mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, Optimist Club and the Arts Center of the Ozarks. He was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army. Survivors include his wife, Beverly; one son, Larry Baile and wife, Mary Ann, of Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Kathi Blundell and husband, Harry, of Springdale, and Judith Busby of Jefferson City; one brother, Glen Baile of Warrensburg; eight grandchildren, Harrison Blundell, Doug Busby III, Brian Busby, Craig Busby, Steven Busby, Lauren Baile, Christopher Baile and Jason Baile; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son-in-law, Doug Busby. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with the Rev. David Owens of First Baptist Church in Centerview officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg.
