Cecil Henry, Sr., age 71 of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Cecil was born January 13, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Lincoln High School in East St. Louis, Illinois, Class of 65. He served in the U. S. Army and the U. S. Air Force, for a total of twelve years, including two tours in Vietnam. Cecil was united in marriage to Deborah Delores Wells on May 6, 1974 in Omaha, Nebraska. The family moved to Whiteman Air Force Base. They moved from Knob Noster to Warrensburg in 1979. Cecil retired from MDOT in 2004 and started Ian & Cecil's Lawn Service, with one of his grandsons. He was a member of Jesus Saves Pentecostal Church in Warrensburg. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was truly a family man who enjoyed home life. Survivors include his wife, Deborah; daughter: Dawn Lowe of Warrensburg, MO; two sons: Bernard Denmark and fiancee, Carol Yeager of Blue Springs, MO and Cecil Henry, II of Warrensburg, MO; two sisters: Patricia Henry of East St. Louis, IL and Connie Thompson and husband,Walter of Dayton, OH; seven grandchildren: Jasmine Dellahoussaye, Sampson Deloach, Jr.; Chelsea Denmark, Olivia Denmark, Mikayla Denmark, Ian Adams and Ceeana Benne; and four nephews: Kevin Henry,Robert Henry, Jason Henry and Christopher Henry. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris and brother, Reuben. Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3rd at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Pastor Kevin Henry and Pastor Morris Collins officiating. Military Honors will be provided by Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Guard; Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #2513 and American Legion, Post#131. Born: January 13, 1947 Death: January 25, 2018
