Slain at a Village Church.
Holden, Mo. Dec. 25 -At the Christmas eve exercises at Columbus, a hamlet about fifteen miles north of here, last night, Herbert Martin, 23 years old, was killed with a club in a fight with neighbor boys and Hiram Hyatt, 19 years old, is held charged with the crime. The trouble was at the village church and a Christmas eve programme was being given at the time. Hyatt is the son of W. C. Hyatt, who lives with his parents on the farm where Mary Henderson was slain.
