PETRIFIED WOMAN'S LEGACY

Farmer Boys Arrested Because Their Exhibit Proved to Be Cement

Warrensburg, Mo.—Several months ago Oscar Cobb and John Shackelford, two country boys, shipped an alleged petrified woman to Shackelord's farm In Hazel Hill township, where they burled and after wards "discovered" and dug It up. They brought it to Warrensburg and placed It on exhibition and reaped a generous harvest of small coin. The woman was found to be of Portland cement, and now Cobb and Shackelford have been indicted for obtaining money under false pretenses.
