Jean was a Concordia High School graduate.She was a 48 year member of the Warrensburg Bethlehem Lutheran Church and a member of the Mary Martha Guild. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Hendrix of Lee's Summit and Cheryl Brown of Warrensburg; one brother,Lew Schnakenberg of Concordia; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Randy Borgstadt, on Sept. 16, 1972. (WHS Class of 73).
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Warrensburg, with Pastor Joel Kurz officiating. Pallbearers will be Bryan Burden, Chuck Heiss, Tom Carey, Rich Rehkop, Gary Rehkop and Tim Schnakenberg.
Burial will be at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in care of the funeral home.
