Lillian A. Goucher, 80, Lee’s Summit, died June 18, 2011 at Kansas City Hospice House.
Survivors include her husband, Henry, of the home; four children, Jackie Hollis, Twylah Adams, Mark Goucher and a son now deceased, Michael Goucher; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She also has one brother, Oscar Wainwright Barber (Betty); and two sisters, Leta Cooper and Lila Jane Wilson (Jesse Jr.); and many nieces and nephews. On Aug. 23, 1953, she married Henry Goucher, Leeton. Mrs. Goucher lived in Lee’s Summit for 38 years and was a house keeper at John Knox Village for 32 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God, Lee’s Summit. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., June 24, at First Assembly of God, Lee’s Summit. Visitation will be prior to services, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Twylah, her father, family and friends of Lillian from the WHS class of 73.
