Sue Ellen Medlin passes away, WHS Class of 72

Sue Ellen Medlin

Sue Ellen Medlin, 57, Unionville, formerly of Warrensburg, Missouri passed away Friday, Nov. 11, 2011 at the Putnam County Hospital in Unionville. She was born Aug. 22, 1954 in Warrensburg, the daughter of James Allison Bodenhamer and Rowend (McNeely) Bodenhamer. On April 23, 1984 she was united in marriage to Robert W. Medlin in Fayetteville, Mo. Mrs. Medlin was a 1972 graduate of Warrensburg High School. She was a nurse's aid at Ridge Crest Nursing Home and Warrensburg Manor for over 23 years. She was a member of the Broadlawn Baptist Church in Unionville and a former member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Robert W. Medlin of Unionville; one son, Joshua Wayne Medlin, of Unionville; and three stepsons, Gordon Medlin of Keytesville, Mo., Michael Medlin, of Warrensburg, and Randall Medlin of Sedalia. Funeral services were held Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. David Jordan officiating. Interment followed in the Memorial Gardens Masoleum. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Broadlawn Baptist Church and may be left in care of the Sweeney-Phillips and Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
